If you are new to computers and the internet, or have very little confidence or experience with computers, then Broadland IT can help you. I offer one-to-one training in your own home using your own computer and its software.
The Benefits of One-to-One Training
Research has shown that many students were unhappy with large classes because they often had to wait a long time to get assistance from their tutor and also had to sit through subjects that were of no interest to them.
Students learn at different paces, which can be nerve-wracking for some in a classroom environment - we teach at a pace that is comfortable for the student, giving the best possible chance of understanding and retaining information.
What I Teach
I provide training for adults of all ages and abilities, aimed primarily at the beginner but also 'improvers' that may want to learn more advanced subjects. I teach in plain English and will explain the 'jargon' as we go.
These are the main categories that I can help you with:
- Windows Operating Systems (XP, Vista, Windows 7)
- Email, both browser (e.g. hotmail) and Windows client based (Outlook, etc.)
- Internet & browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox etc.)
- Printers & scanners
- Networks (wired & wireless)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
- Working with images (resizing, cropping and adjusting pictures)
These are just the most common subjects - if there's anything that you need help with that's not listed above, I can almost certainly cover that as well.
