Computer Repairs

£20 for the first hour, £15 per hour after the first hour, up to a maximum of 3 hours. That means, however complex the problem may be, the most you'll ever be charged is £65.

Most problems can be solved within the first hour, but if it looks as if it's going to take longer, I'll most likely complete the repairs at my workshop. Should that be the case, I can usually return your computer to you the following day.

Servicing

For a full service I charge £40 plus any parts that may be required.

Virus Removal

I charge a flat rate of £35 per computer. In most cases, virus removal cannot be performed on-site because of the time involved.

Wired and Wireless Networking

£25 per hour - installation or problem diagnosis.

Data Recovery

Starts from £35, depending on the complexity of the recovery.

Hardware

Except for a few common components, I do not stock computer products. If you are looking to upgrade your computer, or your repair requires parts, I can source the necessary components for you, or you can purchase the parts yourself (I can recommend the specification and supplier).

I purchase components as required either online or from local shops, whichever gives the best deal. I will charge you the price I paid for the parts, with no markup. For more expensive or specialised items, a deposit may be required.
